Spring Note Heads Back To Newbury
Spring Note Heads Back To Newbury Canter Banter Racing Syndicate
We’re in for a festive treat today, as we head back to Spring Note’s favourite track for the Play Coral ‘Racing-Super-Series’ For Free Mares’ Handicap Hurdle.
We line up in the first race of the day at 12.05 pm, and it’s a competitive field with some progressive mares taking part, such as Nicky Henderson’s other runner, Break My Soul.
We’re very grateful for the services of Freddie Gordon today – he’s been in fine form as of late and will take a very valuable 5 lbs off Spring’s back.
Freddie is an outstanding jockey with a very bright future ahead of him. He’s had some great winners over the Christmas period, including a winner for his dad, Chris Gordon, yesterday at Chepstow and an impressive win on East India Express for Nicky Henderson at Kempton on Boxing Day.
We’re delighted to have many of Spring Note’s owners joining us at Newbury today. There’s nothing better than race day with the team! Although it’s a competitive field, Spring Note will take some beating around her favourite track, so we’re hopeful of a big performance. A little bit of rain would be nice too!
If you’d like to experience the excitement of racehorse ownership with Canter Banter, shares are currently available in some of our future stars. To find out more, call Katie on +44 7946129086 or email us at racing@canterbanterracing.co.uk.
