Spring Note is Back at Seven Barrows Spring Note returns
It’s a family affair here at Canter Banter Racing, as we’re delighted to announce our latest recruit in the world of National Hunt racehorse ownership, Either Way – the sister of Either Or, who’s already been in the Winner’s Enclosure for the team.
Either Way is a five-year-old mare out of Diamond Boy X Madame Grove. Diamond Boy is a sire that’s been revitalised recently, thanks to Cheltenham winners such as L’Homme Presse and Impaire Et Passe, making this an exciting opportunity for those interested in owning a racehorse.
There are still a few shares available, so if you want to own an affordable racehorse and be part of the thrilling National Hunt racing scene, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
We snapped up Either Way after she finished second in an Irish Point To Point at Carrigarostig on her first run. She was given a very educational ride, staying on extremely well.
The winner, Bluey, was having her fifth run for the Codd family. Not only was she considerably more experienced, but we also gave her 5 lbs on the day. Bluey is now in training with Emma Lavelle and has already added another win to her record in a competitive bumper at Plumpton recently.
Since the race, the fourth-placed horse, Maryollie, has also come out and franked the form, winning by 32 lengths. The fifth-placed horse, Grainne A Chroi, has notched up a win as well, finishing two-and-a-half lengths in front of How’s Hannah in Kildorrery.
You can check out the race below:
Either Way is a great age for those looking to get involved in a horse racing syndicate. We aim to send her out for a bumper this season, and then she’ll go on her summer holiday. That way, when it comes to the 2024/25 National Hunt campaign, we can get straight into jumping. At the same time, there’s still an exciting opportunity for you to go racing as an owner before this season ends!
She’ll be in training with Nicky Henderson, who has an outstanding record with mares – Epatante, Marie’s Rock, and our very own Theatre Glory, to name a few.
There are 12 shares on offer, with no additional costs. You’ll pay a one-off purchase fee for your 12th share, and there will then be a yearly payment for training fees.
So, what do you get as a syndicate race owner?
There are NO extra costs involved. The yearly training fees cover everything from gallop fees and vaccinations to transport and race entries.
If you’d like to purchase a share in Either Way, or you have any questions, please contact Katie on +44 7946129086 or racing@canterbanterracing.co.uk.
